RC in Crossword, Landmark and other stores

A earnst request to the Raj Comics Management.
Please do work on getting RC on the stands of stores like Crosswords, Landmark etc.
I would suggest RC to get into these big stores with whatever aggrement. These are the stores where people come to buy for their childrens
I personally think RC is losing on the new generation and unless the kids are involved, the future wont be bright. RC should not lose to foreign comics supported by these stores.
This should be taken up as very very important issue.

sarthi it's an gud thought, but it's not as easy as it seems to be, for a agreement to take place RC has to set up a team of professionals who would deal with the officails of these companies on a regular basis, coz work on an agreement goes on n on till it expires, thus to start of there has to be a team of professionals who specifically deal with these sort of issues so that these deals may actually be profitable for RC

yes I agree, the logistics are difficult

but the future will me much much brighter for RC, I can assure of that.
People at these joints buy comics at ridiculous prices 250 to 800 Rs per comics!
I think the management should seriously consider the option for near future.
U can keep the short term profits marginal, the long term goals will be much better

and with the current website and online ordering, i guess in few years web orders will be the main selling area
collaboration with these stores will create awareness among the young websavy generation
if they dont even know that RC exists they wont visit the site!
u can have the most marginal deal with these stores and promote the website the most through advertisments in the comics itself

RC need to reinvent especially in the middle india and south

You can take help of these stores, rather use them, to grow and create awareness of RC in gen-next.

as said by President Kalam '' As a citizen of India, armed with knowledge, technical expertise and above all a great sense of patriotism, we must realise that small and shorterm aim is a crime''

I know RC has done a lot of soul seaching in recent years and i guess it is the only indian comics surviving. the foreign comics via their movies, and other paraphrenalia are trying hard to enter and exploit the vast market.
RC has much better indegenious stories and story tellers with much improved art work and should promote itself with bigger and long term plans.

I, with the bottom of my heart, wish RC team a very very best luck.

I am fully agreed with sarathi brother. I think comics publishing is tougher than dealing with landmark and other stores.
If RC can successfully publish comics, they should talk to big stores to keep RC comics there. As sarathi bro said, in big cities people used to buy comics from these stores, I have seen Phantom, Spiderman and other comics, then why not RC.

amit bhai publishing comics is RC's forte, but dealing with these companies is a thing tht rc officials wud be not gud at, thus they have to clearly monitor each n every step before going into an agreement as these companies wud look to gain maximum from such deal n thus cud also exploit rc, which wud make the deal not so fruitful

RC should appraoch such retain giants to increase it's readers and as you mentioned people are buying comics with Price Tags of even 800 Rupees which is like 20 times more than a RC digest. I came across Book Sections in Big Bazaar, Spencers, etc where Books of selected publishers placed in attractive manner. Raja Pocket Books is not a newbie in agreements or deals....even in relatively new fields. RC can increase the margin for such companies who can easily place thousands of their comics in various outlets across the country.

The main idea here is not increasing sales but increasing awareness [this of course will boost sales] . if the clientale of tomorrow are aware of rc, only then they will buy. and i assure you these retil giants have very very good customer database.
RC is the best comics around, but then what use is the good work when its scope and reach is limited. these stores will widen the reach of RC and surely and slowly the fruits of sucess will be abundant.

I hope and sincerely wish the RC management does something about this.
I request and plead the management. Please ignore some short term benefits and envision the future. I wish to read RC with white hairs and arthritic knees.
I shall keep bugging this issue on this forum and i shall appeal to all RC fans to appeal here in more and more number. whenever you visit the website, visit this forum link and just write "LONG LIVE RC". The management will hopefully work on this

I just gone through the article, link provided by sarathi, I did not find a single place where author has mentioned anything about raj comics or any RC character. He has mentioned about manoj, tulsi, dimond, even he has mentioned less known prabhat comics also.

in hyderabad kids are buying comics like CHHOTA BHEEM like crazy...where as RC is looked as a waste product,I think new generation in india thinks every thing in an indian language is "low class blah blah bulls***" it is sad but true..........
